I photographed a lovely wedding at the Albright Hussey near Shrewsbury in Shropshire and thought I’d share a few images.
It was a fantastic wedding to photograph in my documentary style. The Albright Hussey is situated in the middle of the beautiful Shropshire countryside and Scott and Carol looked so happy as they celebrated their marriage with their family and friends.
I arrived to photograph the bridal preparations before the wedding. It’s usually where my story starts and it can be a really fun time and often results in great photographs involving laughter and tears.
It was a lovely dry day and the marriage ceremony took place outside as planned. This was followed by drinks outside on the lawn before moving inside for the wedding breakfast.
Barry McQueen, town crier of Blackpool did a wonderful job playing the bagpipes and the role of toastmaster. He also shared some really funny stories whilst we had a bite to eat during the wedding breakfast!
The selection above is a small snapshot of the story of Scott and Carol’s wedding and if you would like more information about my documentary wedding photography in Shropshire or elsewhere, please contact me.
