Documentary Wedding Photographer
Your wedding will be amazing. Don't let a moment get away...
You managed to get so many brilliant candid shots of the people we love - and they're often very touching photos - the kind of shots you can never get when people are conscious you're taking a picture."
Documentary wedding photography: Great photographs of your wedding day without the posing.
The best wedding photographs aren't posed or set up. They are of fleeting moments that happen naturally. These moments can't be created. My experience working as a photojournalist on one of the largest newspapers in the country really lends itself to storytelling wedding photography. My photographs will tell the true story of your wedding day - The best day of your life!
Your images will be a true reflection of the best day of your life...
My unique storytelling style of wedding photography allows you to enjoy every moment of your wedding day with your friends and family. It will just be me with my camera capturing all the fun from the bridal preparations until about an hour after first dance - This is when some of the funniest OMG moments happen! I'm Gavin, a photojournalist that specialises in photographing weddings. Why do I photograph weddings? It's simple really, a wedding day is one of life's great occasions and I love telling the story. From the preparations through to the party in the evening, it's a great, great day! Click on the galleries below or head over to my blog to see some previous weddings that I've photographed - I hope you like them!
My documentary wedding photography is heavily influenced by my experience gained working as a photojournalist for fifteen years. I covered some of the biggest stories including two Royal weddings, three prime ministers, football riots at the Euros and working on assignment with the British Army in East Africa. Telling stories with my camera is what I do and there is no better story to photograph than a wedding day! Real wedding photojournalism! To view my editorial portfolio, click here.
I would love to capture the story of your wedding day.
